MEDICAL PEELINGS

Medical peelings

Medical peelings are treatments performed by a physician. They consist in applying to the skin various exfoliating chemical compounds such as salicylic acid, glycolic acid, resorcinol, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), Jassner solution. Decision about the choice of the kind of peeling from among numerous types of preparations is always made by a dermatologist.

Peelings exert beneficial influence on true skin. They help thickening the skin without causing inflammation. Restoration of resilient fibres and improvement of skin elasticity take place due to regular application of peelings. Simultaneously we observe increased production of collagen fibres, mucopolisaccharides (responsible for moistening of skin), which leads to shallowing of wrinkles and long-term improvement of biological and aesthetic condition of skin. Medical peeling is a very effective natural method of reversing biological clock of skin. Peelings activate

fibroblasts that produce collagen and elastin, which results in repairing of destroyed elastic fibres, maintaining of water deep inside skin and indirectly of better moistening of skin.

Such a broad spectrum of effectiveness causes that these acids are successfully applied in order to:
